Autumn "challenge"

You know, I don't have to be the only one that starts posts here. ;o) Just kidding...I know it's tough to think of stuff to bring up here, and I've been really busy myself.

Anyway, an idea to get people involved in doing some (hopefully) fun and creative PoDW-related stuff...how about we start up a seasonal challenge? I was going to call this a Halloween art challenge, but with less than 2 weeks till Halloween, that's not nearly enough time, and I don't want to just limit this to art if people want to do other stuff. Plus, there are other holidays around this same pre-Christmas timeframe, and it's a cool (pardon the pun :P) time of year.

The idea: create something related to Pirates of Dark Water that deals with some autumnal theme. It can be fanart, fanfic, icons, digital art, or really anything you can come up with. It's just a free-for-all--it isn't a contest and there aren't any prizes; instead, it's just a way to be fun and delve into a "fandom" that you all probably don't normally. :o)

I guess it's a good idea to set a general end date...let's say Saturday, November 20, so we have right around a full month. (Though it's not like you aren't allowed to submit anything after that date's passed.) Then, depending on how well this went, we can try to move onto a different theme.
